Hi! I am Katherine Feeney (aka Kat). I am a Nutrition & Mindset Coach, Digital Course Creator, and Founder of the Healthy Redefined movement. I help women heal their relationship with food and their body so that they can feel healthy and confident in their skin without obsessing over calories. 

More than anything, I wish to inspire you to break free from fear and anxiety around food and your body so that you can enjoy the moments life is placing right in front of you.

As a former Diet Junkie I was obsessed with dieting and restricting foods. I'd been following bloggers who were eating 1200 calories a day, only low carb bread and salads, and worked out 6 days per week. 

In the end, I was not only stressed all the time, but I was feeling absolutely exhausted and shitty. I was following so many rules from various diets and the book "Skinny Bitch" .. but ended up physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted. I'd also held onto SO much fear and guilt around food.


And so, I had a tiny thought that I held onto...

Being healthy and confident in our bodies wasn’t meant to be this hard. And it certainly wasn’t meant to be stressful or detrimental to our self-esteem or mental health. 

This gets to be about making progress and taking care of ourselves out of LOVE for our bodies. Not fear. Not shame. Not guilt. Not feeling like we are fucking up of letting ourselves go simply because we ordered a pizza. 

This gets to feel good. This gets to be easy. This gets to be about giving our body what it needs, enjoying food, and moving our bodies in ways that we want to! 

I don't believe in any specific diet types.
Nor that there is one that will work for everyone. 

I think that the dieting industry has done more harm than good and keeps people in the diet cycle.  


There are a million influencers who we perceive to have perfect bodies and perfect lives, and so we aspire to have the willpower that they have... meanwhile they are dropping their body fat percentage so low that they lose their period. 

I say this with so much compassion for the women who are struggling, but need to bring this to the surface so that you understand what you see as images of health & wellness, isn't always the reality! 

I'm not here to say that I am perfect. Yup, I'm a human over here and have moments of "oh my gosh, my pants don't fit". What I am here to say is that we don't need to kill ourselves trying to get some magic number on the scale. 

My mission is to reframe the way we approach food and our bodies. To look at nutrition as a way to help you support your body through everything you wish to accomplish in this beautiful life. 

My Real Raw Story:

While I thought that I was being healthy and felt so in control: this couldn't have been farther from the truth. I took dieting to the extreme and fell into borderline anorexia in my early 20's. I was obsessed with food, stepping on the scale, working out without eating first, and being skinny. After seeing doctors for over 3 years, I knew I needed to change my story and learn what being healthy truly is! I wanted to be the best version of myself. I wanted to change the story for women who are struggling with body image and diet culture.


My mission was born out of the realization that so many women are looking for exactly what I'd been looking for; a nutrition plan and program to give their body what it needs, not just another diet plan. 

Other things about me:

  • I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. 

  • I'm a social introvert. Big groups and small talk aren't my thing, but I love meeting new people and having deep conversations. 

  • I have a BIG heart. 

  • I love backcountry & alpine skiing, trail running, rock climbing, and kiteboarding. 

You are more powerful that you give yourself credit for.

You can absolutely change your story, no matter what.

You are worthy of everything that you desire! 


From diet obsessed & depleted, to healthy & nourished.

My goal is to help women end the struggle with food so that they can nail their nutrition and have more energy to do stuff that matters.

The truth is you get to be healthy without obsessing over every bite or feeling guilty for eating a cheeseburger on a casual Tuesday.

Even if you haven't worked out that day.

You get to be healthy & happy:

Without ultra low calorie meal plans.

Or subscribing to a specific diet type.

Without monthly challenge packs of supplements you'll never actually consume.

Or skipping meals.

Nothing is "off limits".

There is no "good" or "bad".

Do what feels good to you, and know that it can change over time.

Supporting your body and mind will always be more important than a dream dress size.
